Bhatia Catering and Events was founded by Salil Bhatia. Salil has been in the Catering scene in the UK since 1987 initially working at the famous Gaylord Restaurants in Mortimer Street in Central London. Prior to working in the catering scene in the UK Salil has worked across various cities in India, working at different regions including Delhi in North India, Mumbai in the west and Madras in the south. Working in different regions of India has enabled Salil to understand the different styles of food and cooking in each region, at Bhatia catering we have catered food for all tastes and regions ensuring authencity and quality. Our speciality includes but not limited to North Indian food Punjabi style, Maharashtrian Mumbai style street food, South Indian, Marwari, Jain, Gujarati and many more. After working for Gaylords for 25 years Salil started his own Restaurant and catering Business Indian Seasoning Restaurant and Lounge in the heart of Fulham near Chelsea and Earls court Exhibition centre. During that time time Salil had the honour to be the first Asian Caterer to cater the first Asian event that took place at Number 10 Downing Street for Diwali duirng the time when then prime minister Gordon Brown was in office. Salil also had the honour to cater for the house of commons on two seperate occasions. After running Indian seasoning for over Several years Salil is now focusing his strength which is the catering business.
